With a range up to a quarter mile and it's DRYTEK waterproof design technology, the SD 400 is made to last under any circumstances. The abillity to expand the Sportdog Fieldtrainer up to 3 dogs at once, makes it a versatile dog training collar for the regular dog owner or the more professional dog trainer. The Sportdog Fieldtrainer is equipped with 16 levels of continuous stimulation, up to 8 levels of momentary stimulation and a tone only button. The soft coated and small sized transmitter is very pleasing to handle, making the dog training like a walk in the park. Both transmitter and receiver run on rechargeable NiMH batteries which allows to have the transmitter a 'on-time' of 40 to 60 hours and the receiver 15 to 20 hours.
