petsafedeluxelittledogtrainer The PetSafe DeLuxe Little Dog Trainer is the little brother of the PetSafe DeLuxe Big Dog Trainer also allows to train your dog outside within a range up to 100 yards. This dog remote trainer however is effective for dogs from 8 up to 40 pounds. With a range of 400 to 6000 volts the PetSafe DeLuxe Little Dog Trainer has highly adjustable stimulation levels controlled by an easy to use thumb knob on the transmitter. To control the stimulation you can choose within the 10 levels the transmitter offers.

The behavior can be control with either a tone only button and a stimulation button. The difference between the 2 is that the tone only button emits a sound to warn your dog instead of giving a stimulation to the dog. When the tone is not giving the wanted results, the stimulation button is used to get the dog 'straight in line'. The stimulation released by his button will never go on longer than 8 seconds.

To be able to make the stimulations as effective as possible, the PetSafe DeLuxe Little Dog Trainer comes with two sets of contact points used on the collar to transmit the stimulation. The contact points that are already on the receiver are medium length for the shorter haired dogs. Along with this comes an extra set with long contact points for dogs with long hair. Test it out when you don't exactly know which contact points to use and see how the dog responds on them. The contact points should be directly in touch with the dog's skin.
